The Department of Mechanical Engineering prepares trainees for workshop, service and technical pathways through structured College learning. Automotive Technician Mechanic Level 4 is offered as a Dual Training Programme, combining College learning with practical workplace learning.

MMTVC offers an affordable Driving Course as an additional course upon request through the Head of Department once admitted.
Very strongly recommended for all trainees pursuing Automotive Engineering courses.
After completing an appropriate Level 6 qualification, a graduate may apply for admission to a Bachelor's Degree programme at an accredited university, subject to the university's admission requirements and recognition of the qualification.
