Industry Integration

Dual Training

This department offers Food Production (Culinary Art) Level 5 under Dual Training. Training alternates between the College and industry for the full length of the programme.

Dual Training blends college learning with workplace experience. Theory, practical skills and simulation at MMTVC meet mentorship and real-world application in industry — producing job-ready graduates. Where active, this pathway is strengthened through the College’s GIZ Dual Training partnership.

Supported through the College’s GIZ Dual Training partnership.

  1. Term in College Trainees spend one term learning at the College.
  2. Term in Industry The following term is spent training in industry.
  3. Alternates to the End College and industry terms continue to alternate until the trainee completes the programme.

The programme is managed in conjunction with the Industrial Liaison Office.

After completing an appropriate Level 6 qualification, a graduate may apply for admission to a Bachelor's Degree programme at an accredited university, subject to the university's admission requirements and recognition of the qualification.
