The Department of Hospitality and Institutional Management equips trainees with hands-on culinary, service and accommodation skills for Kenya’s hospitality sector. The department offers Food Production (Culinary Art) Level 5 under Dual Training, combining College workshops with workplace learning in industry.

Industry Integration
This department offers Food Production (Culinary Art) Level 5 under Dual Training. Training alternates between the College and industry for the full length of the programme.
Dual Training blends college learning with workplace experience. Theory, practical skills and simulation at MMTVC meet mentorship and real-world application in industry — producing job-ready graduates. Where active, this pathway is strengthened through the College’s GIZ Dual Training partnership.

MMTVC also offers an affordable Driving Course as an additional course upon request through the Head of Department once admitted.
After completing an appropriate Level 6 qualification, a graduate may apply for admission to a Bachelor's Degree programme at an accredited university, subject to the university's admission requirements and recognition of the qualification.
